Dig into the Good Stuff! was not one of the new 2011 Dog Pearls on our radar screen. It came from going through all the 2008 raw footage of 27+ dogs and noticing several dogs, digging with gusto. Other dogs in this Pearl are in joyful play.

These dogs are regular dogs, not trained actors. A cute little Boxer puppy named Junior just happened to be in the dog park when we went to film another dog. He stole the show! You can see him also in Do You Know Who You Are?
These Dog Pearls are meant to encourage adoptions; a closer bond between humans and animals; and a sense of what we have in common with companion animals in so many life experiences. They are about what dogs teach us, in terms of being human, as much as they are about dogs themselves.
